Different types of containers will be selected for transportation based on the nature or size of the goods being transported. (Number represents length)

(1)  Ordinary container GP/DC (DRY Container/General PURPOSSE): suitable for loading ordinary dry goods. For example: electrical appliances, furniture, toys, clothing, ceramics, etc.

General cabinets are divided into ① 20 'GP ② 40' GP ③ 40 'HC/HQ high cabinets ④ 45' HC/HQ high cabinets (numbers represent length)

For example, the difference between 40'GP and 40'HC: 40GP is a regular size of 12 * 2.2 * 2.2 (usually slightly larger than this), while 40HC is a raised box of 12 * 2.2 * 2.5 (usually slightly larger than this).

(2) Refrigerated Container RF: 20'RF; 40’RF；40’RH  

Goods have temperature requirements, such as fresh goods and goods with constant temperature requirements. Suitable for loading refrigerated food and fresh products, such as fruits, vegetables, frozen meat, seafood, plastic film, wax, etc.

(3) Open Top Container (OT)

Suitable for loading oversized or overweight goods, such as machines. Lifting from the top with a crane is mainly convenient for loading and unloading.

(4)  Tank Container TK

Shaped like a cylinder or air cylinder, suitable for loading chemicals such as liquids or compressed gases.

(5)  Frame/Flat Container FR (FLAT RACK CONTAINER) OW is an ultra wide frame

Specially designed for heavier goods packed from the top or both sides. Suitable for loading goods that are too high or too wide. Such as cars, small yachts, and machines. During loading and unloading, the goods can be disassembled from the top or sides. Empty boxes can also be folded into flat boxes by folding the front and rear flat plates. The folded flat plates can form three or four flat box locks, occupying a small area, easy to store, and fast and cheap transportation.

(6)  Hanger Container HG/HT/DHC

Rope or stick clothing, or a combination of both, is used to hang clothes. Install a clothes hanging iron frame on the trunk box. Used for hanging fur coats, jackets, high-end fashion, suits, formal dresses, etc.

Each container has a globally unique number consisting of 4 English letters and 7 Arabic numerals. Used for identifying and tracking goods. The first three letters are the abbreviations of the company to which this cabinet belongs. This company may be a shipping company or a container rental company, but it is the abbreviation of the true owner of the cabinet. The fourth letter of all cabinets is U, which is the code for packing that can be used for sea freight collection.

The six digits in the middle are the unique numbers of the container.

The seventh (and last) digit is the verification code, which is calculated from the first six digits using a formula.

Four letters plus seven numbers form a unique container number, globally unique.

Lead seal number, also known as lead seal, is a device similar to a lock buckle applied by specific personnel after the goods are loaded into the container and the container door is correctly closed. 

Lead seals can be divided into customs seals, inspection seals, and commercial seals according to the personnel applying them. Once the lead seal is properly locked, it cannot be opened unless violently damaged (i.e. cut open), and the damaged lead seal cannot be reused.

Each lead seal has a unique identification number.

As long as the appearance of the container is intact, the container doors are closed correctly, and the lead seals are locked properly, it can be proved that the container has not been opened without authorization during transportation. The situation inside the container is supervised and responsible by the person who packed it. It refers to the number of the seal used to lock the container door. Lead seals are usually provided by shipping companies and require payment, usually 50 yuan per seal.

Container seal number and lead seal number have the same meaning. No, the container number will not change. The lead seal number is a one-time number, and the lead seal is damaged after one use.
